Guest Presenter Adam Brand heads out to Wakefield Park jumps in the fastest cars that Joe Bloggs can drive in Australia – F3000. Oh, and there’s be a Formula Ford there too!

Welcome to Australia's extreme driving experience, where the general public can drive the fastest track cars in the country unrestricted.

This is the closest thing to driving Formula One.

The Formula 3000 cars in Europe are the stepping stone for nearly all current F1 drivers, and is the immediate category down from F1. You do not get any closer than this, for living the dream!
 
Wakefield Park Circuit
The Wakefield Park circuit is 2.2km long, located on the outskirts of Goulburn. The track has an open infield but includes some great straights to let your hair down, and many sharp corners that will challenge the best drivers.

Why not see if you can beat the track record which currently stands at under 1 min 2.88 secs. After 15 minutes behind the wheel this first time driver took over 2 seconds on the lap record held by the Porsche Cup cars, e.g. GT2/GT3 driven by a professional driver who knows his car and this track.

There is no special race license required to drive here e.g. CAM license and it is absolutely safe to all participants. What you can expect is a guaranteed adrenaline rush.

Driver specs
- You must hold a current car driving licence. Any overseas licence is acceptable.
- You must be either 21 years of age or greater.
- You must be in good health.
- You must be able to drive a Manual Transmission.
- You must able to able to fit comfortably and safely within cockpit, e.g. maximum height to be less than 6 foot 2 inches or 188 cms.

The basic format for the day is as follows:
 
-  Meet and greet at race track
-  Fill out all required paper work
-  Initial track briefing on rules when out on the track in a street car
-  Time to take your street cars on the race to get familiar with the circuit.
-  Guided tour around the track with instructor on do's and don'ts
-  Suit up and go over controls and gears in race car
-  Get strapped into race car.
-  First driver to go out in a privately booked unrestricted 20 minute session.
-  Record laps times
-  20 minutes lapse flag driver in.
-  Driver receives certificate for event and details on the team site and joins the exclusive "Director Club" photo and lap time and rating out of 5 stars.
-  Lunch provided to drivers
- Drivers may wish to take his/her car back out onto the track as its available to them 20 minutes in every hour during the whole day.
