Peas Please

Peas Please has the feel of a country cottage and it serves up old-fashioned foodie favourites with a twist. It's a really cute, homey café that was originally a general store built in the 1800s.

Following the cottage theme, there are retro and vintage toys on display as well as toys and books that keep little kids amused at their tables.

On weekdays they cater for local office workers and businesses, and come weekends Peas Please is flooded with people queuing up for all-day breakfasts and good, honest country style food.

Since opening just over 2 years ago Peas Pleas has been busy and buzzing with a wide range of devoted diners who just can't get enough…'Peas Please!'

Govinda's

Movie & Dinner Package

When you start your evening at Govinda's you can dine to your full satisfaction from the buffet. The menu changes nightly but always includes a delicious Indian dahl soup, vegetable curry, penne pasta, lentil pie or potato au gratin, cauliflower pakoras, potato wedges, rice, poppadums & salads. It is recommended you allow at least half an hour to dine before going upstairs to the cinema.

The Movie Room is a boutique cinema with seating on upholstered floor cushioning that's carefully designed to give support and fabulous comfort. Guests are encouraged to kick off their shoes, stretch out and really make themselves at home. More upright seating is also available with couches and tub chairs.

Dinner is $19.80 and a further $8.80 for the movie if you are doing the dinner/movie package. If you just want to see the movie, tickets to the cinema are available on the night for $12.80. Bookings are recommended as the restaurant gets quite busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

When you dine here you come into a friendly space where you can learn about the Hare Krishna philosophy through cooking classes, yoga, meditation, and being surrounded with like minded people.

Govinda's opens at 5:45pm each night and seats 120 people. A long table for 30 people is available in the party room and private cinema hire & screenings are also available.
