Lakeside Resort Forster

Reporter: Felicity Urquhart

Felicity’s in Forster and she’s on the honeymoon trail. She’s found a fabulous waterfront resort with its own honeymooners’ cabin right on the waters edge. And given that she’s so close to the water, she’s going to make the most of it and actually get in the water and go swimming …. with dolphins!

Swimming with Dolphins Cruises

The Swimming with Dolphins Cruise is conducted year round by Dive Forster at Fishermans Wharf. It’s a truly wonderful experience where you get to interact with the dolphins in the water.

There are only FIFTEEN places in the World where you can swim with wild dolphins. Five of these are in Australia; two in Western Australia, one in Adelaide, one in Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne and the fifth with us in Forster NSW.

Dive Forster has a fantastic purpose & custom-built TSMV Avanti - a fast, stable and extremely safe 10.6 metre twin hull vessel licensed to carry 20 passengers.

Caravans and RVs

Also on the water’s edge are the caravan sites, perfect for anyone bringing their own caravan or RV. One the most popular caravans is the Charisma 620 from Swift Caravans.

The popular Charisma range now features two new twin-axle models comprising a four-berth layout with rear island double bed and a six-berth family model.

All ten layouts in this sophisticated range offer shower cubicles or separate shower areas. High specification exterior features include one-piece, thick gauge, high gloss aluminium sidewalls, alloy wheels, and a Status 530 directional TV aerial.

Interiors offer the latest ‘spaceframe’ locker construction, loose fit carpets and kitchens with a high level of equipment including a dual fuel hob, extractor fan and roof light. Twin-axle models feature an underfloor, 40-litre insulated fresh water tank.

Perfect for those road trips down the beautiful NSW coast.
