Jon Sivewright

Jon joined Sydney Weekender in 2007, as a presenter. He is otherwise known as Tony Holden in Channel 7’s Home and Away.

Originally from Fremantle, and a keen AFL fan he's also a keen surfer and loves to play guitar. Now living in Sydney's eastern beaches Jon likes to surf or swim every day.

When Jon left school he worked on the mines in the North West of WA, travelled and then became a fire fighter for 12 years. He moved to Sydney in 2003 to follow his passion and pursue acting.

So we have taken it upon ourselves to give Jon a taste of our beautiful state because, as we know, it is the best state in Australia.  So far he’s been taking it all in his stride – it’s a tough job checking out restaurants and resorts and tour operators, but we think he’s up to the challenge.
