Recently opened Penny’s Lane is located right near the legendary Coke sign in Kings Cross.

Owner Manuel Spinola had a vision for a great local with stunning, yet simple, bistro-style food with a French influence. This is a great restaurant that’s totally unpretentious and where the emphasis is on good food.
Treat yourself or your date to wonderful classics, such as Steak Frites with Café de Paris butter or a luscious dark chocolate fondant.

Entree
- A dozen freshly shucked oysters
- Zucchini flower fritters filled with mushroom and fontina
Main
- Half roasted and confit chicken, roast onions, oregano, cavalo nero
- Sirloin steak frites with café de paris or béarnaise sauce
Dessert
- Vanilla parfait, banana fritters, sour cherry syrup
- Warm chocolate and chestnut tart, grand marnier cream

Restaurant Sojourn
If would be difficult to find more passion in a kitchen than that found at Sojourn. It was after all the love of cooking that led Chef, Paul and the Front of House manager, Kim to become Mr and Mrs Camelleri, and then to eventually establish Sojourn.

But luckily for us they did – because food this delicious should not be kept to just themselves. The cusine could be described as modern European with a French influence, but that would only start to describe the experience that you’ll enjoy at Restaurant Sojourn.

- ‘En crepinette’ of confit duck leg, parsnip chips, roasted onion tart and sherry vinegar
- Olive and chive soufflé with soft goat’s curd, basil jelly, tomato sorbet and parmesan wafers
Mains
- Dory fillets with caramelised cauliflower, scallops, crisp chicken wings and beurre noisette foam
- Fillet of pork with cabbage puree, cannelloni of spiced braised pork cheek and pork crackling
Desserts
- Vanilla and cinnamon bavarois with apple sorbet mille-feuille of warm apple & rhubarb
- Chocolate mousse with coffee ice cream and banana doughnut
